The referral field is easiest to check while you are creating the account. Tallypier’s code is BNB1088; enter it on the official sign-up form and compare it with what Binance actually displays before you submit.

Referral offer: up to 20% off eligible trading fees, subject to the benefit displayed on Binance, account eligibility, region and current policy. Tallypier may earn commission if you use this promotional link. It does not add a separate Tallypier charge.

Based on Binance’s referral program terms and list of prohibited countries, checked September 2026. Not being listed here doesn’t mean every product is open to you.

Before you enter personal information

Confirm the full domain and use your real country or region of residence. Product access, minimum age requirements, identity documents and payment methods can differ by location. Read the eligibility terms shown for your residence before registering. Changing the interface language or using a VPN does not make an unavailable service eligible.

Use an email account you control and a password that is not reused elsewhere. Avoid forms reached through search ads, unsolicited messages, shortened links or QR codes from strangers.

Create the account and check BNB1088

  1. Open the official registration page and confirm the address begins with https://www.binance.com/. If it sends you to a regional service, read that service’s eligibility and offer terms.
  2. Choose the personal account route appropriate to you. Enter an email address or phone number you control, using whichever method the page offers.
  3. Complete the verification challenge and enter the code sent to your own email or phone. Enter codes only in the official page you opened, never in a chat.
  4. Create a unique password if the selected sign-up method asks for one. Review the terms before accepting them.
  5. Find the referral field before the relevant confirmation step. The order of these screens can differ between the website, app and registration method; do not continue past an unclear referral prompt.

Look for “Referral ID” or “Referral Code”; you may need to expand an optional field. Our link can prefill BNB1088. If the field is editable and blank, enter that exact code. If it is locked, inspect the displayed value and offer instead of trying to force a change. Read the confirmation yourself; a publisher’s screenshot cannot confirm your referral relationship.

If the value is absent, different or attached to an unexpected product, pause before submitting. Check that the app opened the same registration route as the browser. If there is no visible way to confirm the relationship, ask official support about that route rather than assuming the link worked.

Forgot the code? You can still add a referrer from the referral page within 30 days of registering, but only if every one of these is true: your identity verification details haven’t been used for another account in the past 180 days; the account has no referral relationship yet; it is a main account; it has no deposits or trades; and it hasn’t been flagged for wash trading. Once a relationship exists, it can’t be changed or removed. Don’t pay for a “rebinding” service or open duplicate accounts to obtain an offer.

What a referral ID can and cannot change

A referral ID records who invited you. It doesn’t lower the rate on the fee page, change regional eligibility or make identity checks easier. When an order fills, the normal fee is charged in full. The referrer then earns a commission and can choose to share part of it with you as cashback. The referrer sets that share, and it can be zero. According to Binance’s Referral Pro FAQ, rewards are calculated hourly, converted to USDC and paid into the Spot account. Once your account reaches VIP 3 or higher, spot rewards stop.

The 20% figure is the referrer’s default spot commission rate, not an amount you are guaranteed. Binance hasn’t published how cashback interacts with paying fees in BNB, so don’t multiply one by the other. To see whether the relationship exists, open the referral page in your account and check the referral record and cashback history. Cashback arrives later as a separate USDC credit, so it won’t show up in a fill’s fee line. Withdrawal charges, spreads and funding costs are separate; the spot fee guide explains the calculation.

KYC and account ownership

Account creation and identity approval are different stages.

Binance’s personal verification instructions describe selecting your residence and accepted document, submitting the requested images and completing a liveness check. Follow the options available in your account, with details that match your own valid document. Do not let an affiliate or paid agent keep a recovery method or complete facial verification for you.

If verification fails, read the reason before trying again. A cropped document, glare or mismatched name needs a different correction from an unsupported document type. Do not edit document content or submit someone else’s identity. While a review is pending, use its stated status and support route; no publisher can promise a completion time. See KYC troubleshooting for the next checks.

Secure the account before funding it

  • Protect the email account with its own strong password and suitable authentication.
  • Enable the verification methods offered in the signed-in security page.
  • Review devices and sessions; remove anything you do not recognize.
  • Store recovery information away from the everyday login device.
  • For a first transfer, verify asset, network, address and any memo or tag independently.

When registration stalls or an offer looks wrong

If an email code does not arrive, verify the address and spam folder before requesting another.

Several rapid requests can leave you using an expired code; use the latest message and follow any displayed waiting period. If the page says the account already exists, use sign-in recovery rather than starting again with borrowed details.

A blank or failed page is not a reason to follow a replacement link sent by a stranger. Reopen the official site or app, check for a service notice and keep the error wording. For lost access, use the recovery guide; if the referral relationship is missing, the 30-day conditions above decide whether it can still be added.

Leave any offer that hides the destination, promises permanent benefits, asks for remote access or requires a crypto deposit to “activate” a discount. A legitimate disclosure does not require your password, balance, UID, documents or verification codes.

Final check before submitting

  1. Official domain and secure connection.
  2. Real residence and the correct account type.
  3. Referral field checked, if present.
  4. No fixed benefit assumed without visible terms.
  5. Unique password and a recovery plan.
  6. No third party waiting for a code or watching the screen.
Risk reminder: a referral benefit cannot reduce market volatility, custody risk or the possibility of losing your capital.
